Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, AI, digital transformation, and business-critical applications.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines using modern data engineering and big data technologies.
• Build and optimize data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse solutions, to support analytical and operational use cases.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Analysts, and customers to translate business requirements into reliable and scalable data solutions.
• Develop data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation workflows for large-scale and complex datasets.
• Build reusable data engineering libraries, frameworks, and components to improve development efficiency and solution scalability.
• Implement data quality, validation, governance, lineage, monitoring, testing, and security practices.
• Deploy, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize production data solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
• Apply cloud technologies and engineering best practices, including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and DevOps.
• Contribute to technical architecture, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across digital transformation projects.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or a related engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL, with experience in ETL/ELT and data pipeline development.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Ray, Flink, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehouses, data lakes, and/or lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases and large-scale datasets.
• Experience building reusable engineering components and delivering production-grade data solutions.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, security, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, monitoring, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Experience delivering solutions within large, complex, and multi-functional organizations.
