Responsibilities

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for R&D work such as developing and implementing big data models and algorithms, and working with cross-functional teams to provide customized solutions.

• Responsible for the backend architecture design and core module development of the cloud-native big data analysis platform, including data collection, transmission, storage, offline/real-time computing, distributed scheduling systems, high-availability and high-concurrency data services and other big data ecosystem projects construction and maintenance
• Based on the distributed computing platform, carry out the construction of large-scale portrait features and real-time behavioral features, and construct large-scale feature sets
• Establish content data warehousing, accumulate content data assets, and support internal and external data applications

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in computer science, information technology, mathematics, economics or related fields
• Master's degree or above with 5+ years of industry experience in one of the following fields, such as data science/analytics, computer vision, etc. Experience in leading a team is preferred
• Proven experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop and Apache Spark
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, SQL, and/or Python
• Experience with big data technologies and tools such as MapReduce, Hive, and Pig
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, and Scikit-Learn
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with big data platforms for data integration and processing is desirable
• Experience with large-scale distributed system architecture, development, and tuning will be given priority
