Senior Data Engineer

Location: Pine Avenue, Lake City, Lahore (On-site)
Timing: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong technical expertise, communication skills, client-facing confidence, and the ability to take ownership of projects from requirements through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data platforms.
• Build batch and real-time data pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and Airflow.
• Design and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, event streams, and external systems.
• Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and governance processes.
• Optimize SQL queries, data processing performance, reliability, and cloud costs.
• Work closely with clients, Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Take ownership of data engineering projects from requirements through production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production data issues.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional Data Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark and Airflow.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and project-closing ability.
