Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, cloud technologies, ETL/ELT development, distributed data processing, and modern data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Build and optimize data processing workflows using Python and SQL.
• Develop data solutions using Apache Spark / PySpark.
• Work with cloud-based data platforms and services.
• Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformation processes.
• Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI Developers, Software Engineers, and business teams.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve production issues.
• Implement best practices for data security, governance, and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark / Apache Spark.
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and database concepts.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
