About the role

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build and run batch and incremental pipelines from MySQL service databases, Zoho CRM, Meta Ads and other SaaS sources into a central analytics warehouse. You will model clean, documented tables for deals, customers, payments, policies, affiliates and marketing leads, and own data quality through tests, freshness checks, reconciliation against source systems and alerts when numbers drift. You will protect customer PII through masking, encryption, role-based access and audit trails in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), and feed reporting and dashboards for sales, marketing, finance and affiliate performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and run batch and incremental pipelines from MySQL service databases, Zoho CRM, Meta Ads and other SaaS sources into a central analytics warehouse
• Model clean, documented tables for deals, customers, payments, policies, affiliates and marketing leads
• Own data quality: tests, freshness checks, reconciliation against source systems and alerts when numbers drift
• Protect customer PII: masking, encryption, role-based access and audit trails in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173)
• Feed reporting and dashboards for sales, marketing, finance and affiliate performance
• Prepare reliable, PII-safe datasets for AI and automation, starting with the sales assistant and n8n workflows
• Work with backend engineers so new services emit data cleanly, without adding load on fragile production databases
• Write runbooks and keep pipeline, lineage and metric definitions documented

About you

• 3–5 years building production data pipelines
• Strong SQL and solid MySQL knowledge (schemas, indexing, binlog replication) and a working understanding of change data capture (CDC)
• Python for ETL/ELT, APIs and scripting
• Hands-on with at least one cloud data warehouse (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery or similar) and working knowledge of AWS (S3, IAM, Secrets Manager)
• Experience with an orchestrator (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect or similar) and a transformation tool such as dbt
• Pulling data from REST APIs with auth, pagination and rate limits
• Git, code review and CI/CD habits
• Nice to have: Insurance, fintech or e-commerce data experience
• Nice to have: Zoho CRM or Meta Marketing API integrations
• Nice to have: Hands-on with CDC tools such as Debezium or AWS DMS
