Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with 7-8 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data platforms and transformation pipelines. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, Python, DBT, and Apache Airflow, along with advanced SQL skills and proven experience in end-to-end ETL/ELT pipeline development.

The candidate will be responsible for building robust data solutions, implementing data transformation frameworks, optimizing warehouse performance, and managing workflow orchestration to support enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Build and optimize data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop data transformation models and workflows using DBT.
• Create, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Write efficient and optimized Python code for data processing, automation, and orchestration.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization strategies.
• Implement end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple source systems to Snowflake.
• Design and maintain dimensional and normalized data models.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and validation across systems.
• Perform query tuning, warehouse optimization, and cost management within Snowflake.
• Work closely with Data Architects, Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide support for critical data pipelines.
• Follow best practices for CI/CD, version control, testing, and deployment of data engineering solutions.
