Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data platforms and analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Apache Spark, Databricks, SQL, Python, data warehousing, data modeling, streaming data, and Microsoft Azure Data Services. The role involves building reliable, high-performance data pipelines that support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Build and maintain data engineering solutions using Apache Spark, Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Develop reliable batch and real-time data ingestion frameworks.
• Design and implement enterprise data warehouses, data marts, and lakehouse architectures.
• Create and maintain logical and physical data models based on business requirements.
• Develop streaming data solutions using event-driven architectures and real-time processing frameworks.
• Use Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and related Azure services for data orchestration and transformation.
• Implement data quality checks and maintain data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Support scalable data platforms for business intelligence, advanced analytics, and AI/ML workloads.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong understanding of data engineering and data architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Practical experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.
• Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and lakehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of batch and real-time data processing.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Working knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Understanding of data quality, data governance, security, and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
