Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, and AWS to develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data quality, with a focus on data processing performance and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, including query tuning, performance optimization, and window functions.
• Build and maintain data processing workflows using Python, Pandas, and PySpark.
• Develop Bash/Shell scripts to automate data processing and operational tasks.
• Utilize AWS services, including S3 and EC2, for data storage and processing.
• Design and implement efficient data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data quality, pipeline performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data engineering and analytics initiatives.

Required Skills

• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Pandas, and PySpark.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting and automation.
• Experience with AWS services, particularly S3 and EC2.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data modeling principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale data platforms and distributed data processing.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud-native architectures.
