Senior Data Engineer ( M/F)

We are looking for a Data Engineer specialized in Databricks to join our team of passionate data professionals. You will work in modern, cloud‑driven environments, designing scalable pipelines and ensuring high‑quality data delivery across the organization.

Your Role

You will design, build, and maintain cloud‑based data solutions using Databricks as a core platform. Your work will support analytics, reporting, and strategic decision‑making. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable data flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes in Databricks
• Build and optimize data models and cloud architectures leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse platform
• Use SQL and Python to transform, validate, and optimize datasets
• Integrate data from multiple sources into scalable cloud environments
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
• Monitor workflows and contribute to performance tuning and cost optimization
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and proper documentation
• Support continuous improvement of engineering practices, automation, and standards

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data‑focused role
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks (pipelines, Delta Lake, transformations, orchestration)
• Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data modeling
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Python for data processing
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and best practices
• Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
