We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer | AWS 🚀

To join a Data Engineering environment focused on AWS-based Lakehouse architectures , supporting data ingestion, transformation, and processing at scale. The role combines Apache Iceberg table management, pipeline orchestration, performance optimization, and scalable ELT practices , working closely with domain teams to improve the reliability and efficiency of data workflows.

Skills

🎯 Data Engineering , particularly within AWS cloud environments ;

🎯 Lakehouse architectures and Apache Iceberg table operations ;

🎯 Data ingestion, transformation, and ELT pipelines ;

🎯 Pipeline orchestration and data processing workflows;

🎯 Performance tuning , including table optimization, compaction, and data retention processes;

🎯 Familiarity with Release Management, SDLC processes, and technical deliverables ;

🎯 Ability to troubleshoot data pipelines and support scalable data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

✅ Support and maintain data ingestion and transformation frameworks , ensuring reliable data processing workflows;

✅ Optimize Apache Iceberg tables , focusing on performance, efficiency, and data organization;

✅ Manage table compaction and data retention processes within the Lakehouse environment;

✅ Investigate and resolve data pipeline issues , supporting the stability and performance of data workflows;

✅ Collaborate with domain teams to implement scalable ELT and pipeline orchestration patterns ;

✅ Contribute to performance tuning, release management, and SDLC deliverables , supporting consistent data engineering practices.
