A well-funded, fast-growing Protech startup in Tel Aviv is looking for an experienced **Senior Data Engineer** to play a key role in building and scaling the data infrastructure behind its advanced B2B SaaS platform.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, designing scalable systems, and taking ownership of production-grade data pipelines.

**What you'll do:**

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines.

• Integrate diverse data sources to support data-driven product capabilities.

• Contribute to data architecture and engineering best practices.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

You'll have the opportunity to influence how the company's data infrastructure is built and scaled.

**Location:** Tel Aviv | Hybrid

**Must-have qualifications:**

◆ 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.

◆ Strong practical experience with Python, PySpark and SQL.

◆ Proven experience designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines in production environments.

◆ Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, SSIS or similar.

◆ Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

◆ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

**Additional qualifications:**

◆ Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code or similar coding assistants.

◆ Experience using AI tools for code generation, testing, debugging or code review.

◆ Experience with Spark, Azure or Kubernetes - a significant advantage.

◆ Background in B2B SaaS, enterprise data or high-scale product environments - an advantage.
