Senior Data Engineer (SQL, Databricks)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong SQL and Databricks expertise to join our team.

You will be creating solution designs for features, driving feature refinements in collaboration with requirements engineers and the Product Owner, supporting the team lead during planning cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Create technical user stories
• Design and implement data processes (e.g. ADF Pipelines, Databricks)
• Data models developing and versioning
• Work with cloud-based data infrastructures (Azure)
• Development & execution of schema + data migration
• Optimize ETL performance
• Conduct technical QA

Required experience

• Data modelling concepts and techniques (DWH, transactional)
• Databricks & Delta Lake, Python, PowerShell, MS SQL Server, T-SQL
• Good knowledge of the Azure data engineering stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB
• Good working knowledge of DevOps, testing, operating and optimizing complex data flows
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio

Nice to have experience

• Hands-on experience with PowerBI
• Hands-on experience with Agent Bricks
