What will you do?

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced data architectures, leveraging Lakehouse and Medallion patterns with Delta Lake;
• Develop and optimize robust data pipelines, including streaming, Change Data Capture (CDC), and event-driven integrations using Azure Event Hub;
• Define and implement strategies for data governance, security, and observability across Azure cloud environments, incorporating Unity Catalog;
• Drive architectural reviews and foster an SRE mindset to ensure operational excellence and efficient cloud cost management;
• Collaborate on the definition and development of Data Products and API integration strategies (REST, Async, Event APIs).

What are we looking for?

At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset:

• +5 years of professional experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a similar Technical Lead role;
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Event Hub, Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Key Vault;
• Understanding of data architectural concepts such as Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Data Products, and Data Mesh (preferential);
• Demonstrated experience with event-driven architectures, streaming pipelines, Change Data Capture (CDC), and various API types (REST, Async, Event APIs);
• Solid understanding of Data Governance, observability, SRE mindset, cloud cost management, and security principles, with exposure to Terraform and GitHub;
• Mandatory fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken) and understanding of English;
• Alignment with our corporate culture and a commitment to integrity and ethics are highly valued;
• Strong customer focus, teamwork, task prioritisation, and daily commitment are highly appreciated.
