Senior Data Modeler (Data Vault + AWS + SQL)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Modeler to support enterprise data modernization and cloud migration initiatives. The role will focus on designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models, assessing legacy data architecture, and defining future-state data models for AWS-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise applications and analytics platforms.
• Perform current-state data architecture assessments and support legacy modernization.
• Hands-on experience with Data Vault modeling.
• Develop Star and Snowflake schemas for reporting and analytics.
• Create source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
• Design data models for AWS Data Lake/Data Warehouse environments.
• Work with ETL/ELT teams on data migration, integration, and transformation.
• Implement data governance, data quality, and MDM best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, SMEs, and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• 9 to 12+ years of Data Modeling / Data Architecture experience.
• Strong Data Vault experience.
• Strong SQL and relational database design skills.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB/DB2 or similar databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data platforms and cloud modernization.
• Experience with ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or similar modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of data migration, source-to-target mapping, metadata, data lineage, and governance.
• Experience with API/integration data modeling.

Locations: Bangalore / Pune / Chennai / Hyderabad / Vadodara

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
