Senior Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact opportunities to design data-driven CRM and personalization strategies that improve engagement and long-term customer value.
• Develop and deploy advanced machine learning and statistical models, including recommendation, targeting, and experimentation frameworks.
• Design scalable inference pipelines (batch and streaming) with monitoring and evaluation frameworks to support production systems.
• Conduct deep data exploration and causal analysis to solve complex product and business challenges.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams to translate insights into AI-driven product features and strategic decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience applying machine learning or advanced analytics to real-world business problems.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, A/B testing, and causal inference.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with experience working on large-scale datasets.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical insights for business stakeholders and leadership.
• Candidates with customer-facing/consulting experience is a plus.
• Full professional fluency in both English and Japanese are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building production ML systems or inference pipelines in large-scale environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional data science initiatives from concept through deployment.
