Senior Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, software engineers, and other data scientists to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and production-ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to identify business problems and define suitable data science and AI solutions.

• Develop machine learning models for classification, regression, forecasting, recommendation, segmentation, and anomaly detection.

• Build deep learning solutions for structured and unstructured data, including text, documents, images, and time-series data.

• Design and implement generative AI applications, AI agents, and agentic workflows.

• Perform data exploration, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and evaluation.

• Select appropriate algorithms and models based on performance, scalability, cost, latency, and business requirements.

• Build reusable training, inference, evaluation, and scoring pipelines.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models through APIs, batch pipelines, or real-time services.

• Monitor model performance, data quality, data drift, and production reliability.

• Apply model explainability techniques such as feature importance and SHAP.

About you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, probability, machine learning, and model evaluation.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, or CatBoost.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, cross-validation, and model interpretation.
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, batch inference, real-time inference, Docker, and Git.
