Senior Data Scientist, Growth Data

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Growth Data to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will focus on using data science to improve marketing performance and inform growth strategy across customer acquisition and lifecycle efforts. You will build measurement frameworks, develop algorithms, and partner closely with marketing and data engineering teams to turn insights into action. The work will center on experimentation, attribution, and optimization, with an emphasis on helping stakeholders make better decisions through trusted analytics and scalable data products. This position also offers the opportunity to leverage AI tools to increase efficiency and concentrate on higher-value strategic work.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build data products and algorithms to optimize marketing performance
• Design measurement strategies for marketing initiatives, including attribution modeling
• Drive marketing strategy using data insights and A/B testing methodologies
• Develop and maintain analytics pipelines in collaboration with data engineers
• Conduct exploratory analysis to identify growth opportunities and optimize tactics
• Provide analytics support, including reporting and dashboards, for marketing stakeholders
• Leverage AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and focus on strategic problems

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing analytics and optimization
• Strong technical skills in Python and SQL for production-quality code
• Proven expertise in algorithm development and optimization problems
• Solid foundation in causal inference, A/B testing, and experimental design
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ownership of complex projects with a proactive business understanding
• Experience with lifecycle data and customer outreach strategies
