We are looking for a Senior Data Solution Architect to join our Development Center in Bucharest and work on enterprise-scale data, reporting and analytics solutions for a world-renowned client.

The role combines Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, Cloud, Data Warehousing and Analytics , with a strong focus on designing modern cloud-native data platforms and supporting the modernization of legacy reporting environments.

🔹 What you will do

• Architect and design enterprise data, software and technology solutions based on business and information needs

• Work across the full data solution lifecycle, including data profiling, conceptual, logical and physical data modelling

• Design data platforms, ETL processes, reporting and analytics solutions

• Architect cloud-native data and reporting solutions using Google Cloud Platform and modern analytics technologies

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Data Engineers and reporting teams to define roadmaps, standards and best practices

• Support migration from legacy reporting platforms to strategic solutions

• Contribute to cloud migration and platform modernization initiatives

• Provide technical leadership, solution guidance and mentoring to delivery teams

🔹 What we are looking for

- 7+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Reporting, Analytics or Data Platform solutions

• Previous experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture or Technical Leadership

• Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale reporting and analytics platforms

• Expert knowledge of dimensional and relational data modelling

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills

• Experience with Enterprise Data Warehousing, Data Platforms, Data Governance and Metadata Management

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform , ideally including BigQuery and Dataproc

• Experience with at least one reporting/analytics platform: Looker, Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense

• Knowledge of self-service analytics, dashboarding and data marts

• Understanding of RBAC, entitlements, data security, auditability and compliance controls

• English B2 or above

🔹 Nice to have

🏦 Banking or Financial Services experience

🤖 AI-enabled analytics and conversational reporting

☁️ Cloud migration and legacy platform decommissioning experience

📍 Important: This position requires 1 day per week onsite in the Bucharest office. We are only considering candidates currently based in Bucharest.
