What they need

Do you enjoy building robust, scalable data foundations to enable fantastic insights generation for Operations with their ambitious automation & digitalization journey?

We have an exciting role as a Senior Analytics Engineer in our Data Engineering & Analytics team! Come join us!

About The Role As our Senior Analytics Engineer, you'll help the LEGO Group build a reliable data foundation that enables Manufacturing and Engineering teams to make better decisions through data. You'll design and maintain dimensional data models, create scalable data products on Databricks, and support the delivery of analytics solutions that create value across Operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll combine data engineering, analytics, and business understanding to deliver solutions that people use and trust.

Required Qualifications

  • Delivered solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL in production environments.
  • Built dimensional data models that supported reporting, analytics, or operational decision-making.
  • Created, maintained, and automated ETL pipelines in cloud-based platforms.
  • Applied DevOps and DataOps practices to improve quality, scalability, security, and automation.
  • Worked with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud to deliver data solutions.
  • Developed reliable data products that enabled stakeholders to access and use trusted data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Applied agentic data engineering concepts in data platform environments.
  • Used Power BI Dataflow or similar technologies within data and analytics ecosystems.
  • Delivered analytics or data engineering solutions in manufacturing environments.
  • Developed Databricks-based reporting, dashboards, or analytics capabilities.

What You'll Build

  • Design and maintain a robust data foundation that supports Manufacturing and Engineering.
  • Create and manage data products that improve access to reliable, high-quality data.
  • Transform data into scalable solutions that enable informed business decisions.
  • Support the development of automated data pipelines, APIs, and analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to data engineering standards and ways of working across the organisation.
  • Help teams understand performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement through data.

If you've worked in a role where you transformed complex operational data into trusted data products, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to combine strong technical delivery with an understanding of how people use data to make decisions.

Life on the team You'll join the Data Engineering & Analytics team within Engineering & Workplace in Operations. Together, we help Manufacturing(shopfloor) and Engineering(R&D) in becoming even more data driven than today. Data Engineering & Analytics is part of Manufacturing Products and Data Enablement, with the purpose of “getting value from Data”. We work in a hybrid rhythm across Billund and Nyíregyháza, with regular team collaboration and a strong focus on sharing ideas and solving problems together. You'll thrive if you're collaborative, curious, comfortable working independently, and able to communicate technical concepts clearly while building strong relationships with stakeholders.

What Success Looks Like Success means delivering reliable data products that stakeholders trust and use. You'll help strengthen data modelling practices, improve the availability and quality of data, and contribute to scalable solutions that support an expanding manufacturing footprint. Working closely with product managers, project managers, peers, and business stakeholders, you'll help shape how data creates value across Operations.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
