Role Description The Senior Database Administrator at شركة صحب للتطوير والاستثمار العقاري will manage, maintain, and optimize the organization’s databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This part-time remote role involves monitoring database health, troubleshooting issues, and implementing backup and recovery strategies. The Senior Database Administrator will design and refine database structures, support data modeling efforts, and collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure efficient data flow across systems. The role also includes applying best practices for access control, performance tuning, and capacity planning, while documenting configurations and procedures for ongoing support. The individual will contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing system performance, recommending enhancements, and supporting data-related decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Database Administration and working with Databases, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and backup/recovery.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Database Design and Data Modeling to support scalable, secure, and well-structured data architectures.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to diagnose performance issues, interpret data patterns, and recommend effective solutions.
• Experience with major relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with cloud-based database services is beneficial.
• Knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization is preferred.
• Experience implementing database security, access control, and compliance with relevant data protection standards is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is recommended.
