Job Overview

We are looking for Database Administrator who are responsible for managing all the activities related

to database system, as a member of our DBA Team. Their duties include creating, maintaining, monitoring, and

managing the databases of the company’s information technology infrastructure.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Installs, upgrades and configures database software. Perform backup, restore and Disaster Recovery tasks.

• Manage and monitor database availability, database performance, data usage and capacity, data integrity, etc.

• Setup, develop and custom the monitoring tool, alerting on database performance, etc.

• Designing database architecture and setting up database migration and integration.

• Perform data distribution and replication, etc.

• Control and Define database access rights based on roles.

• Manage and Maintain database security including data confidentiality (masking) and database encryption in accordance with standards to align security policies, PDPA and governance.

• Assist developers and end-users with database objects changes, query development and tuning.

• Analyze and troubleshoot database issues.

• Collect and maintain database documentation.

• Available on-call support is needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineer or Information Technology related field.

• 5-7+ years’ experience as a Database Administration.

• Strong Technical Knowledge and skill of RDBMS: MSSQL. Knowledge of Oracle, Postgres or NoSQL is advantages.

• Strong in SQL command base on T-SQL, PL/SQL and SQL tools, query optimization, execution plans, solutions and related tools. Knowledge of monitoring tools e.g., Grafana.

• Skill in Windows and Linux environment. PowerShell, Unix shell or Python scripting are advantages.

• Knowledge of Database Security best practices.

• Up to date with IT trends and developments in database administration.

• Analytical and Problem-solving skills.

• Capable of working under pressure.

• Good command of English.
