Senior Datacom Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Datacom Engineer to support critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Huawei networking solutions and strong familiarity with other major vendors (Cisco, Nokia, Juniper) to ensure seamless multi-vendor integration and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex Datacom networks, with a primary focus on Huawei ecosystem solutions.
• Provide expert-level support for network operations, including troubleshooting, optimization, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, security, and performance standards are met.
• Conduct technical assessments and migrations involving multi-vendor environments (Huawei, Cisco, Nokia, Juniper).
• Document network architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Experience : Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Datacom engineering, specifically in large-scale enterprise or service provider networks.

Technical Expertise :

• Huawei : Proficiency in Huawei routers, switches, and controllers (e.g., NetEngine, CloudEngine, iMaster NCE). Certification (HCIE-Datacom) is highly preferred.
• Multi-Vendor Knowledge : Solid understanding of Cisco (IOS/NX-OS), Nokia (SR OS), and Juniper (Junos) platforms.
• Networking Fundamentals : Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VxLAN, SD-WAN, and network security protocols.
• Problem Solving : Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues under pressure.
• Communication : Strong English communication skills for international collaboration; ability to produce clear technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible) for network management.
• Background in NFV/SDN architectures.
• Prior experience in [Specific Industry, e.g., Telecom/Enterprise] projects.
