Senior Delegated Executive / Program Manager

A specialty insurer is looking for a Senior Delegated Executive / Program Manager to join its London team, taking a key role in the management and development of its MGA and delegated underwriting portfolio.

This is a broader and more commercial role than a traditional delegated authority position. Alongside governance and oversight, you’ll work closely with MGA partners and internal underwriting teams to support onboarding, portfolio performance, relationship management and the continued development of delegated programmes.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Managing relationships with MGAs and acting as a senior point of contact
• Supporting the onboarding and approval of new delegated arrangements
• Monitoring portfolio performance, KPIs and contractual obligations
• Working with Underwriting, Claims, Legal, Finance and Compliance on programme development and performance
• Supporting audits, reviews and ongoing oversight of coverholders
• Identifying performance issues, growth opportunities and areas for operational improvement
• Helping ensure delegated programmes remain commercially viable, well controlled and aligned with underwriting strategy

We’re looking for someone with experience across Delegated Authority, Program Management or MGA oversight, ideally within the Lloyd’s or London Market. Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management will be particularly important, alongside a good understanding of delegated underwriting controls and governance.
