Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer with 8–15 years of experience in Capital Equipment and SPM design. The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Creo and AutoCAD, along with proven experience in team handling and design project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Capital Equipment, SPMs, and industrial machinery.
• Prepare detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using Creo and AutoCAD.
• Handle complete design activities from concept development to final manufacturing drawings.
• Review designs for functionality, manufacturability, accuracy, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Electrical, and Project teams for smooth execution.
• Review and approve drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues during fabrication, assembly, and commissioning.
• Lead and mentor junior design engineers and allocate work within the design team.

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in Capital Equipment / SPM / Industrial Machinery design.
• Strong hands-on experience in Creo and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of machine design, fabrication, mechanisms, assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in preparing BOMs, GA drawings, detail drawings, and assembly drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and design development skills.
• Proven team handling / team leadership experience.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Profile

Candidates from Capital Equipment, SPM, Automation Machinery, Industrial Equipment, Machine Building, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
