Position Title: Senior Design Engineer- NEW PROD. DEVELOPMENT

Location: Pune

Working Experience: between to 7 to 10 years

Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering [BE MECH]

Age: Not more than 35

CTC: Negotiable. Max 7/8 lakhs

Job brief:

We need a product Design engineer who will be working in D & D department for

precision mechanical product design for our various type gauges like Dial Gauges, Air

Gauges, Mech. gauges. He is practically participating and hands-on working on said

product design line. He should able to do Product study, feasibility Study, Design and

prototype manufacturing.

The goal is to ensure to speed up the new product design life cycle as per new product

time chart/life cycle.

Preferred experience:

Precision Measuring Instruments industry, Gauging Industry, Light/small precision

Engineering Products

Knowledge Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

 Minimum 4-5 years of related experience in product design in precision product,

gauges

 Good command Generate 3D Models in SOLID EDGE & Auto cad

 Knowledge of GD&T & manufacturing process of gear & its calculations

 In depth Knowledge material specifications

 Work experience of quality systems like ISO Adequate knowledge of engineering

process, costing tool room manufacturing process

 SAP exposure & ERP knowledge is a must

 Knowledge of design related standards

 Stable career history

 Exp in prototype manufacturing & testing fixture.

Responsibilities:

 Create drawings, prototypes, BOMS, cost info, etc and complete necessary

product testing.

 Document and maintain product development schedules

 Create and publish drawings from CAD models for purchased and manufactured

components.

 Develop, document and maintain project tasks and schedules and execute

project tasks as required.

 Specify performance testing parameters, execute tests and document

compliance with applicable requirements

 Improve existing products using analytical techniques to better meet customer

requirements.

 Investigate cost reduction opportunities within manufacturing facility and

optimize product designs to make improvements in manufacturing processes.

 Monitor project development.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
