Senior Design Manager, Data Centers

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Design Manager, Data Centers to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will help lead design delivery for major data center developments, ensuring projects are executed with strong technical discipline, commercial awareness, and effective risk management.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders across the design process while partnering closely with internal functions to support successful facility outcomes.

The position also plays an important leadership role in mentoring Design Managers and strengthening regional practices across a fast-moving, mission-critical environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $123,500 – $164,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Define design delivery strategy for major facility developments
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including external consultants and stakeholders
• Oversee design reporting and risk management processes
• Mentor Design Managers to enhance regional practices
• Collaborate with internal divisions on design execution

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical capital projects
• Deep understanding of critical-facility systems and compliance requirements
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to travel up to 25%
