Senior Design Program Manager II

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Design Program Manager II to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will lead complex design programs across multiple teams, ensuring strong execution from concept through delivery. You will partner closely with design, engineering, and design system stakeholders to create scalable operating rhythms and support high-quality user experiences. The position also has a strong focus on improving program efficiency through AI-enabled workflows, thoughtful resource planning, and effective vendor management.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $214,000 – $226,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of complex design initiatives across multiple teams
• Build and deploy AI-enabled workflows to automate program management tasks
• Own strategic vendor relationships and contract management for design tooling
• Champion team health through capacity planning and resource allocation
• Partner with the design system team to align programs with system evolution
• Apply design thinking to program design and operational experiences

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in program management and design operations within design or product organizations
• Strong product sense and design craft sensibility
• Experience with all stages of the product development lifecycle
• Technical fluency to collaborate with design system and engineering teams
• Proven track record driving complex, cross-functional programs from 0-1
• AI fluency and experience leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency
• Vendor and contract management experience
