We’re seeking an experienced Senior Designer / Architect to lead design projects from early concepts through construction documentation and delivery. The ideal candidate possesses excellent design and technical skills, is highly organized, can independently manage all project types, and has the ability to guide project teams and build trusted client relationships.

The role is critical to the continued growth of the firm and offers opportunities for advancement into increased leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & develop thoughtful, functional design concepts that respond to client needs, site conditions, monitor project schedule, budgets, and project goals.
• Lead architectural projects through planning, design, documentation, and construction phases.
• Prepare and review drawings using Revit & AutoCAD, specifications, presentations, and other project documents.
• Prepare energy compliance documentation using COMcheck.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members.
• Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Draft Work Authorization & Project Proposals.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project reviews.
• Support construction administration and help resolve design or documentation issues; review shop drawings & submittals.
• Support business development and Marketing for future projects.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable building and energy codes.
• Use AI tools to enhance Renderings and Marketing for future projects.

Qualifications Requirements

• 7-10 years of professional architecture or architectural design experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Licensed architect (or actively pursuing licensure)
• Strong knowledge of design abilities, building systems, materials, codes, construction methods, Communication, Presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Leadership & project Management Experience
• Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
• Ability to independently manage small to large projects
• Marketing & Business Development Experience
• Experience developing client relationships and pursuing new work
• Proficiency with (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, COMcheck, Adobe)
• Experience across a variety of project types, including Multifamily Residential, Restaurants, Warehouses, Office Buildings, Retail & Hospitality
