Senior Developer Advocate, AI

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Developer Advocate, AI to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will help shape how developers build with the company's AI-enabled platform through clear technical guidance, sample applications, and practical implementation examples.

You will partner closely with product and engineering teams to improve the developer experience, while also supporting external partners and customers who are integrating APIs and related services.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of software engineering depth, developer empathy, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into content that accelerates adoption and success.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $123,000 – $180,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality sample applications and SDKs demonstrating best practices
• Produce developer-focused content including tutorials and how-to guides
• Provide technical support for partners and customers integrating APIs
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams for API design improvements
• Deliver reference implementations and example code for Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Leverage generative AI tools to enhance developer deliverables safely

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering or developer-facing roles (web, cloud, native)
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and modern web/cloud stacks
• Strong understanding of security practices like OAuth2
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
