We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer (Financial Services industry) to join our team in Pennsylvania. This role is critical for maintaining, enhancing, and troubleshooting our existing software applications, requiring a deep understanding of various technologies and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Job Description:

• Lead the investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of complex software defects within an established codebase.

• Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for existing applications, ensuring high quality and performance.

• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and debugging to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and other development teams.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and development processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines to maintain code quality and maintainability.

• Participate actively in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and ensuring robust, scalable solutions.

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.

Required Skills and Experience:

10-15 years of professional experience in software development.

Temenos products knowledge is preferred, including Maestro and Journey Manager.

Strong proficiency in Javascript and Typescript.

Extensive experience with React.js for front-end development.

Solid background in Java development, with a preference for Groovy.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Jenkins.

Proficient in using Git for version control and collaborative development.

Proven ability to work effectively with and enhance an existing, large-scale codebase.

Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical information to diverse audiences.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SASS for advanced styling and CSS pre-processing.

Familiarity with jQuery for legacy system maintenance.

Knowledge of AWS cloud services and deployment strategies.

Understanding of database concepts, design, and query optimization.
