Software Engineer (Rust) – Contract - London

I'm working with a highly technical organisation in London that is looking for experienced Software Engineers to build fast, reliable distributed systems in Rust.

What you'll be working on:

• Designing and building distributed systems where latency and concurrency really matter
• Creating core infrastructure other engineering teams depend on
• Taking services from first design all the way into production
• Digging into how your code behaves under real load on Linux

What makes the opportunity interesting:

• Rust in production on systems that genuinely matter
• Rust doesn't need to be your first language, strong systems engineers are welcome to make the move
• Real ownership rather than a small slice of a huge platform
• Algorithms and data structures that matter day to day
