Do you want a job with a purpose? And do you want to make healthcare safer, better and more reliable? Join our Team! Join us as our Senior Developer Engineer at Dedalus , one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, in Bosnia and Herzegovina to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.

What you’ll achieve

As the Senior Developer Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain critical components of the amPHI platform — a Medical Device-classified (MDR EU 2017/745) emergency care and pre-hospital solution used across multiple countries. Working closely with the Engineering Lead, Product Owner, and fellow engineers, you will deliver robust, secure, and maintainable .NET code while contributing to technical design decisions. You will be a hands-on senior contributor who raises the engineering bar for the team through the quality of your own work and the guidance you give to less experienced colleagues.

You will be working on the following:

Software Development

  • Design and implement features across the amPHI .NET platform (backend services, APIs, UI components)
  • Write clean, secure, well-tested, and maintainable code
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including production incidents

Architecture & Design

  • Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
  • Propose sound implementation approaches and evaluate trade-offs
  • Identify technical debt and propose remediation within delivery cycles

Quality & Mentoring

  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
  • Mentor less experienced engineers on code quality, design, and problem-solving
  • Support test automation and CI/CD practices for the components you own

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and Test/QA on requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with the Engineering Lead and DevOps on release readiness
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, security, and data protection standards

Technology environment

  • Microsoft .NET / C#
  • ASP.NET Core / REST APIs
  • Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly)
  • SQL Server and database design
  • Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS)
  • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent)

Work Environment

  • Located in Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Ability to work remotely from a suitable environment when necessary
