Senior Developer (Java | React / Insurance / Multiple Headcount / WFH)

Large-Scale Digital Transformation & Cloud Migration Initiatives

We are partnering with a leading enterprise organization to expand its technology team and support a portfolio of large-scale digital transformation, cloud migration, and application modernization projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced developers who want to move beyond pure coding and gain greater exposure to solution design, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and technical leadership within a complex enterprise environment.

What You'll Do

• Participate in large-scale application modernization and digital transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and external technology partners to deliver enterprise solutions
• Analyze requirements and contribute to solution design discussions
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Support cloud migration and deployment activities, helping identify and resolve technical issues during implementation
• Coordinate with offshore development teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery
• Review technical solutions and provide recommendations on architecture, scalability, and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews and ensure development standards and best practices are followed
• Support testing, deployment, production rollout, and post-implementation activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Strong experience with Java and modern enterprise application development

• Solid understanding of Spring Boot or similar backend frameworks

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or similar environments

• Exposure to system migration, cloud transformation, or modernization projects is highly desirable

• Good understanding of software delivery lifecycle and enterprise application environments

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and external technology partners

• Exposure to React or modern frontend technologies would be advantageous

• Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
