Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior DevOps & Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Operations team. This role combines deep systems engineering expertise with modern DevOps practices, focusing on automation, infrastructure reliability, security, observability, and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing highly available production environments that support our business-critical applications and services. Working closely with Software Engineering, Security, Product, and Operations teams, you will help streamline software delivery, strengthen platform security, improve operational efficiency, and drive automation across the organization.

This is a hands-on technical position ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, building scalable systems, automating repetitive processes, and continuously improving reliability and security.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize highly available Linux-based production environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational processes using modern automation frameworks and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
• Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, reliable, and secure software delivery.
• Manage and optimize enterprise virtualization and private cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Deploy, operate, and support containerized workloads and modern application runtime platforms.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting solutions across infrastructure and application layers.
• Integrate security monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, and application protection technologies into operational workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, platform reliability, developer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Implement system hardening, patch management, access controls, and security best practices across all environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues spanning infrastructure, operating systems, networking, databases, middleware, and applications.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.
• Develop automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and increase operational maturity.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, architecture diagrams, and knowledge base articles.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure architecture, security posture, and operational processes.
• Support capacity planning, performance optimization, and scalability initiatives for rapidly growing platforms.

Requirements (Essential Qualifications)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role supporting production environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux systems administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining modern CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise virtualization technologies and private cloud environments.
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration platforms in production environments.
• Solid understanding of monitoring, observability, centralized logging, and alerting ecosystems.
• Experience with security operations technologies, threat detection platforms, vulnerability management, and application security controls.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using modern scripting or programming languages.
• Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, load balancing, reverse proxies, VPN technologies, and TLS/SSL.
• Experience with version control systems and Git-based workflows.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Requirements ( Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with public cloud platforms and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with GitOps, immutable infrastructure, and cloud-native operational practices.
• Knowledge of high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity architectures.
• Experience implementing security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, GDPR, NIS2, SOC 2, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting large-scale SaaS, telecommunications, communications, or mission-critical environments.
• Relevant industry certifications related to Linux, cloud platforms, networking, security, virtualization, or DevOps practices.
