  • Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters in production.
  • Implement containerization strategies using Docker and manage microservices-based architectures.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kubernetes-native monitoring tools.
  • Design and manage API traffic handling using REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, API Gateway, and load-balancing strategies.
  • Ensure infrastructure and application security best practices including OWASP compliance, static code analysis, and container security.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, outages, and scaling challenges in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data, and security teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services in production environments.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration and production operations.
  • Strong experience with Docker and cloud-native microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language: Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
  • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB).
  • Strong Linux fundamentals and system-level troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of infrastructure and application security best practices.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AWS data services such as DMS, Glue, Athena, or Redshift.
  • Experience working in start-up or high-growth environments.
  • Experience collaborating with distributed / remote teams.
  • Exposure to advanced observability, performance tuning, or cost optimization strategies.
