Senior Devops Engineer

We are a fast-growing AI startup building enterprise AI products across multiple domains. We are developing scalable, production-grade, AI-powered products from the ground up. We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help build and strengthen the infrastructure that powers our products as we scale.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys building reliable infrastructure, automating deployments, solving complex production problems, and making practical architectural decisions.

Role Overview

• Design, implement, automate, and maintain our AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment ecosystem.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure using Amazon EKS.
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Improve engineering productivity by making deployments faster, safer, and more reliable.
• Take ownership of infrastructure and production operations from development through deployment and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Build, configure, and manage Amazon EKS / Kubernetes clusters.

• Manage AWS services including:

• Amazon EC2

• Amazon EKS

• Amazon RDS

• Amazon ECR

• Amazon S3

• Amazon Route 53

• IAM

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop infrastructure and automation scripts using Python.

• Create, maintain, and optimize Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments.

• Containerize applications using Docker and manage production deployments on Kubernetes.

• Work with Concourse or similar CI/CD platforms.

• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability using:

• Prometheus

• Grafana

• Elasticsearch

• Monitor infrastructure and application performance and proactively identify potential issues.

• Troubleshoot and resolve:

• Production incidents

• Kubernetes issues

• Networking issues

• Deployment failures

• Database issues

• Container-related problems

• Infrastructure issues

• Implement infrastructure security, access controls, backups, disaster recovery, and operational best practices.

• Improve system availability, deployment speed, infrastructure reliability, and cloud cost efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams working with TypeScript, NestJS, Python, FastAPI, and Google APIs.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

• Participate in infrastructure architecture and technical planning as the organization scales.
