Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Dubai to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud and on-premise infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and automation frameworks that support our fast-paced delivery cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple application stacks
• Develop and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration in AWS, Azure, and on-premise data centers
• Write and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to streamline operational tasks
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and security teams to drive DevOps best practices
• Conduct system architecture reviews and recommend improvements to achieve high availability and disaster recovery

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5 – 8 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
• Expertise in Bash scripting and Python programming
• Proven experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS and Azure
• Strong knowledge of on-premise server and network management
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent
• Experience with infrastructure as code principles and tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC/configuration management tools
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Background in performance tuning and capacity planning
• Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
