About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join a remote engineering team and help design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services in Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Manage and optimize Azure resources, environments, and infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Automate operational processes, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning using scripting and DevOps practices.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Implement and maintain cloud security, access controls, networking, and best practices.
• Work with development and engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and operational efficiency.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes/Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) where applicable.
• Contribute to logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and core Azure services.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows administration.
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and access management.
• Experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes/AKS.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Application Insights.
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD practices, automation, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with Helm, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
• Experience with Azure networking and security services.
• Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience working with highly available and production-scale cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
