Senior DevOPS Engineer

TAGGRS is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to ensure a reliable, scalable infrastructure, laying the foundation for billions of tracking requests per day worldwide.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing our entire cloud architecture. Because we are growing rapidly, we regularly encounter limits—both in our own architecture and in external systems / cloud providers. You will ensure that we not only understand the limits of our systems, but also know how to cleverly break through and expand them.

Your main challenges:

• Leading a team;
• Mapping out the limits of all components within our system (VMs, containers, databases, networks);
• Developing scalable solutions that can handle billions of requests per day;
• Building and optimizing monitoring systems;
• Maximizing system uptime;
• Achieving optimal redundancy across all layers of our architecture;

Furthermore, your tasks consist of:

• Configuring, maintaining, and updating servers, networks, and applications;
• Proactively identifying, analyzing, and resolving bottlenecks in the infrastructure;
• Securing data and networks, with a focus on high availability and continuity;
• Advising on and implementing new technologies and infrastructure solutions;
• Collaborating with developers to realize infrastructure and software innovations.

We are looking for someone who works independently, analyzes sharply, and always sees opportunities for improvement. You take the lead in innovation and ensure we stay ahead. You are also pragmatic and goal-oriented. In addition, we require:

• At least a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field;
• Ample experience in a similar role within a SaaS or data-driven company;
• In-depth knowledge of modern DevOps tooling; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus!
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Grafana, or Loki;
• CKA or RHCSA certification is appreciated, or a willingness to obtain it;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• A forward-thinking, innovative mindset;
• Excellent communication skills: you can explain complex concepts simply.
