Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Cloud, AKS, Kubernetes, Istio, CI/CD, and GitOps to design, implement, and manage scalable microservices platforms for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, deployment pipelines, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments for microservices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and related tools.
• Implement GitOps practices using Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure and support Istio Service Mesh for security, traffic management, and observability.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python, Bash, and Shell Scripting.
• Monitor platform health using Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, and Kiali.
• Support production environments, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure platform reliability.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams for application deployments and enhancements.
• Drive performance tuning, scalability improvements, and infrastructure optimization.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of DevOps experience.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud and AKS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Istio.
• Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform (GitOps).
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux Administration skills.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, and Shell.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale microservices architecture.

Good to Have

• Java development knowledge.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, MySQL, Apigee, Akamai, and Palo Alto Firewall.
• FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Performance testing and tuning.
• Team leadership experience.

Pay: From ₹2,000,000.00 per year
