Senior DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps Engineer

Duration: 6 Months+

Location: Krakow, Poland (2-3 days onsite)

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Proof of Concept PoC for an OpenSource Workload Automation platform and support its evolution into a productiongrade enterprise solution
• Design build deploy and operate containerized platforms on Kubernetes
• Implement and manage workload automation orchestration and processing pipelines
• Design develop and maintain CICD pipelines and deployment automation
• Build infrastructure automation and platform engineering capabilities
• Support engineering teams with DevOps best practices including reliability repeatability observability and securebydesign deployments
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones
• Drive technical outcomes through strong ownership communication and delivery focus
• Support testing practices including automation testing integration testing release validation and quality engineering
• Contribute to platform scalability monitoring hardening and operational readiness

To be successful in this role you should have

• Hands on years of experience in DevOps Platform Engineering Site Reliability Engineering SRE or Infrastructure Engineering
• Strong handson experience with Kubernetes in enterprise delivery and production environments
• Experience with Workload Automation platforms
• Experience with Kafka and EventDriven Architectures
• Experience with Apache Airflow or workflow orchestration platforms
• Strong coding and scripting skills using Python Java or similar programming languages
• Experience designing and implementing CICD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation and Platform Engineering
• Strong testing mindset with experience in automation testing integration testing and release validation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills particularly across distributed global teams
• Ability to work independently and drive technical delivery outcomes
• Experience with Jenkins is desirable
• Experience with Ansible is desirable
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions is preferred
• Experience converting PoCs into productiongrade platforms is advantageous
• Experience with monitoring observability platform hardening and scalability practices is beneficial
