Senior Devops Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join our team in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role operating on rotational shifts (Monday to Saturday layout). You will be responsible for handling the implementation, enterprise integrations, and Day-2 operations of multi-cloud application platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with enterprise customers to solve application transformation goals, driving automation, scalability, and DevSecOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cluster Deployment: Plan, architecture-review, and deploy production-level containerization configurations and Kubernetes / VMware Tanzu clusters.
• Pipeline Orchestration: Build, integrate, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) across multiple customer staging and deployment environments.
• Configuration Management: Automate infrastructure-as-code deployments and manage environment sync states using tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Container Security & Registries: Securely configure container registry solutions (Harbor, JFrog, Quay) while enforcing Kubernetes networking and security architecture standards.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement robust application tracking and cluster logging setups utilizing DataDog or open-source infrastructure tools (Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Stakeholder Engagement: Actively interface with enterprise customers to advise on structural cloud-native migrations and clear operational technical blockers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Engineering Graduate (B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or related fields preferred).
• Proven proficiency with orchestration toolsets (Kubernetes), automation setups (Ansible), and version control systems (Git).
• Excellent technical analysis, troubleshooting capacity, and customer communication abilities.
• Preferred Credentials: Active professional certifications including Red Hat, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or VMware tracks are a significant advantage.
