Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the reliability, deployment, automation, monitoring, and operational readiness of the Cortex platform. The candidate will work closely with development, infrastructure, and platform teams to troubleshoot production issues, improve delivery pipelines, and ensure stable and efficient application operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, deployment environments, and platform configurations.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and repetitive operational tasks.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using logs, metrics, telemetry, alerts, and observability tools.
• Investigate production incidents, deployment failures, infrastructure issues, and service availability problems.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve platform reliability.
• Support application releases, environment management, rollback planning, and deployment readiness.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, data, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and configuration automation.
• Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms where applicable.
• Improve system availability, scalability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain runbooks, deployment documentation, monitoring standards, and incident reports.
• Support knowledge transfer and the transition of Cortex operational responsibilities to the Hyderabad team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, SRE, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent technologies.
• Proficiency in Linux administration, shell scripting, and automation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of networking, security, access management, and production environment management.
• Experience with Git, release management, and deployment automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SRE practices, reliability engineering, incident response, and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of secrets management, vulnerability management, and cloud security practices.
• Experience supporting distributed applications and enterprise production platforms.
