Senior DevOps Engineer (GKE OR Google Kubernetes)

Role Description We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own containerized application orchestration and deployment infrastructure on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). The role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and observable systems that support the full deployment lifecycle from code commit through production. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Kubernetes-based platforms, GitHub-driven workflows, CI/CD automation, and cloud security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications on GKE OR Google Kubernetes environments.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Manage source control strategies, repository governance, and deployment workflows using GitHub.
• Implement and maintain IAM policies and access controls to ensure secure cloud operations.
• Configure Kubernetes networking, routing, workload security, and cluster scalability.
• Support deployment automation and operational excellence across the application lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, and distributed system issues.
• Drive platform reliability, security, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, automation, and developer experience.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.
