Your Task

The Access4You TEC team supports customers in various areas, from test environments to test data management and test automation, ensuring that test platforms are available for teams from the Workplace Experience to complete their test projects. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to work on the Future CAST initiative, which aims to modernize the Centralized Acceptance & System Integration Test (CAST) environment by applying Infrastructure as Code and automation-first principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Automate configuration management and application deployments using Ansible
• Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to streamline release processes
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Implement best practices for security, cost optimization, and infrastructure governance
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across environments
• Document infrastructure designs, processes, and operational procedures
• Serve as central team contact for the specialist departments
• Carry out risk assessment and proactive coordination of communication with the specialist departments/requestors and approval
• Provide technical support to scrum master and product teams

Your Profile

We are seeking a qualified DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and CI/CD pipeline management, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Must Have Skills

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services (compute, networking, storage, identity)
• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
• Solid knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and system architecture
• Experience with Linux-based systems
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• English language proficiency (level B2)

Nice to Have Skills

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400)
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Security and compliance experience in cloud environments
• German language skills
