Your Task

As Senior DevOps Engineer for Sovereign Cloud, you will co-create next-generation cloud solutions, with a focus on EU healthcare, security, and public sector areas. You will participate in the design and implementation of a Kubernetes-based Platform as a Service offering to Sovereign Cloud. You will design and implement a set of sovereignty controls and measures, including encryption and identity management and control functions over relevant parts of the Sovereign Cloud. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for the entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Platform as Code approaches, taking account of and defining automated configuration management, release management, build, test, and deployment activities. You will provide prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Manage source code, configuration management, release management, build, and deployment activities
• Setup and manage integration with partner applications
• Conduct performance analyses and tuning as well as error analyses and troubleshooting
• Consult and implement new innovative technologies to satisfy innovation strategy
• Create concepts for further automation of services, processes, and/or operating models
• Directly support the project teams in the development, quality assurance accompanying development, as well as planning and implementation of product releases
• Continuously optimize the development and system infrastructure
• Provide consulting to project teams on areas of expertise, including Prototypes/Proof of Concept solutions
• Research and develop in assigned technology, determine business requirements, propose changes, and prepare implementation plans

Your Profile

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Kubernetes-based platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in containerization, automation tools, scripting, and monitoring solutions, along with relevant certifications and excellent communication skills.

Must Have Skills

• Master's degree in Information Technologies
• 4 years of experience with ICT Systems
• Expert level experience with Scripting (Bash, Python)
• Expert level experience with Linux Operating System
• Intermediate level experience with OTC / AWS / Azure
• Expert level experience with Docker
• Advanced level experience with Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD or CKS certified)
• Expert level experience with Git
• Advanced level experience with Jenkins / GitLab
• Intermediate level experience with Maven / Gradle
• Advanced level experience with Ansible / Terraform / Puppet
• Advanced level experience with ELK / Prometheus / Icinga / Jaeger / Grafana
• Expert level experience with Networking
• Advanced level experience with Security
• Strong communication skills

Salary:

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than €2,900 gross.
