Your Mission
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in our client's IT transformation, supporting the migration from the existing Atlassian suite (Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence) to an open-source ecosystem (Zammad, OpenProject and XWiki) deployed on Red Hat OpenShift.
You will ensure operational continuity while developing the integrations, automation tools and workflows required for a successful migration. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the existing Atlassian environment, customizing Zammad forms, managing API gateways and deploying secure, scalable applications within OpenShift.
You will also contribute to infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, platform monitoring and operational support throughout the migration lifecycle.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Platform Administration: Deploy, configure and maintain Zammad, OpenProject and XWiki on Red Hat OpenShift. Administer Linux environments, Kubernetes resources and Helm charts while ensuring platform stability and performance.
Development & Integration: Develop custom forms using HTML, JavaScript and REST APIs. Maintain Atlassian customizations using Groovy and Java, and automate application integrations through n8n workflows and API gateways.
Automation & Migration: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, and implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD. Develop scripts for data extraction and migration.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Use Dynatrace to monitor application performance, analyze logs and diagnose technical issues across containerized applications, databases and middleware.
Operational Support: Participate in shift coverage and mandatory on-call rotations to ensure production availability and service continuity.
