🔎 What Are We Looking For?

A Senior DevOps Engineer with strong enterprise and regulatory experience to support one of our clients in the UK financial services sector. You'll design and operate secure, auditable DevOps platforms, working closely with developers, security teams, and compliance functions. We need someone who can balance innovation with risk management in a highly regulated environment, leveraging AI-assisted capabilities pragmatically.

📍 Location: 100% Remote for candidates based in Spain.

🔗 Language: English is a must. Spanish desirable.

📋 Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve secure, auditable DevOps platform capabilities in partnership with developers and control functions.
• Provide third-line support for CI/CD platforms, build agents, and self-hosted tooling in enterprise environments.
• Represent operational, security, audit, and risk requirements as first-class inputs in platform design.
• Drive automation, reliability, and continuous delivery practices across the organisation.
• Design and operate AI-assisted DevOps capabilities (CI/CD, testing, quality, operational automation).
• Facilitate consensus across developers, citizen developers, and compliance teams with competing priorities.

✅ Your Profile

• Strong hands-on experience with DevOps platforms, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure automation.
• Proven track record working directly with developers and control functions (security, audit, compliance) as co-design partners.
• Deep experience operating in regulated enterprise environments with strict audit and governance requirements.
• Pragmatic approach to emerging technologies, particularly AI-assisted development tools.
• Collaborative mindset: you build tooling with teams, not for them.

📋 Tech Stack – Enterprise Admin Level

• CI/CD & Orchestration: GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot, Azure DevOps Services, Octopus Deploy
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Kubernetes (AKS), Azure, Terraform (IaC, policy as code, drift detection)
• Build & Deployment Agents: AKS-based, GitHub-hosted, VMSS-based, agent fleet management
• Code Quality & Security: SonarQube, Checkmarx (SAST), JFrog Artifactory & XRay
• AI & Automation: Claude Code (or equivalent agentic tools), AI-assisted CI/CD and testing
• Governance: RBAC, secrets management, audit logging, approval gates, policy enforcement
