Senior DevTech Compute Engineer, Compression and Data Processing

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Devtech Compute Engineer Compression And Data Processing to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Telecommunications & Hardware environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $184,000 – $356,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Prototype novel GPU-accelerated distributed data processing methods
• Analyze and optimize complex data workloads for performance
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to influence hardware and software design
• Engage with top-tier customers to integrate advanced solutions
• Promote open standards in data analytics and compression solutions

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, or related computational field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a history of complex projects and effective prioritization
• Hands-on expertise in low-level parallel programming
• Fluency in C/C++, algorithms, and data structures
• Knowledge of CPU/GPU/NPU architectures and memory subsystems
• Domain expertise in data processing, compression techniques, and distributed databases
