Senior Digital Content Officer

Location: Parramatta, NSW

(Hybrid: 50% Office / 50% Work From Home)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Content Designer to support the delivery of customer-focused digital experiences across enterprise websites. This role will be responsible for designing, publishing, and optimising digital content while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, content governance frameworks, and best-practice web standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, digital teams, and project teams to support website enhancements, content migrations, and ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality, customer-centric digital content across multiple websites.
• Publish and maintain website content using Drupal CMS .
• Ensure content adheres to accessibility requirements, brand guidelines, and web standards.
• Provide expert advice on content design, user experience (UX), SEO, information architecture, and accessibility.
• Monitor and analyse website performance using digital analytics tools and recommend improvements.
• Support website consolidation, migration, and content improvement projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content meets business and user needs.
• Contribute to digital content governance and best-practice content management processes.
• Maintain high standards of content quality, consistency, and usability across digital channels.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Drupal Content Management System (CMS) .
• Proven experience in digital content design and web content publishing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and accessible content practices.
• Experience creating and managing content for large-scale websites.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, SEO best practices, and information architecture.
• Experience using digital analytics tools to measure and optimise content performance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desired Experience

• Experience supporting website migration, consolidation, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience working within government or large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of digital content governance and web standards.
